Margaret Gornati

GORNATI, MARGARET of Hoover, AL passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and John Hanebrink of St Louis, MO; sister Elizabeth (Betty) Hanebrink, sister Fran Hanebrink, brother Joe Hanebrink (Teddy), daughter in-law, Michelle Gornati and nephew, Tommy Hanebrink. Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years Bob Gornati of Hoover, AL, sons Gary Gornati (Sandi) and Scott Gornati and daughters Robyn Reeder and Traci Cooper, her brother Jack Hanebrink (JoAnn), 7 grandchildren Mark Naugle (Rachel), Brian Naugle (Leeza), Nicholas Kumpee, Tyler Kumpee, Marti Gornati, Randy Reeder and Michael Reeder, 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews . A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover AL. Inurnment follows in the church’s columbarium. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be sent to St. Peter’s the Apostle Catholic Church Human Concerns Committee.
