April 25, 1968 — November 13, 2025

Louie Reese, IV went to his Heavenly home on November 13, 2025, after a long illness. He was a loving and devoted son to his parents, Alice Lindsay Reese and Louie Reese, III, both who predeceased him.

He was loved dearly by his family, including sisters Alice Klimpt of Raleigh, NC and Lynn Anderson, brother-in-law Bill Anderson; nephew Tripp Anderson and niece Sarah Anderson of Roswell, GA. He had a close relationship with his aunts, Lynnell Reese and Julene Roberts of Asheville, NC and many other relatives and family friends.

Louie was born on April 25, 1968 in Birmingham, AL. He attended Rabun Gap Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap, GA, as well as Shades Valley High School. He received his associate degree from Virginia College at Birmingham. He proudly served in the United States Army, where he was a vehicle mechanic and earned many service medals.

Louie had a gentle spirit, a strong faith in God and a patriotic pride that showed in many areas of his life. He volunteered at the Birmingham VA Health Care System, as well as at Church of the Highlands, where he went on mission trips to Belize and joined men's bible studies. He was a competitive bowler, enjoying his fellowship with others in bowling leagues around the city, as well as spending Saturdays rooting for the Crimson Tide football team.

A private family memorial will be held on November 19, 2025 at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
