Leo Hicks, Jr

Mr. Leo Frank Hicks, Jr., age 65, of Chelsea, AL, died Friday, September 13, 2013, at Beasley Hunting Club in Sumter County. Lt. Hicks served 45 years in the Birmingham and Leeds Fire Departments and retired in February 2013. Viewing will be Wednesday, September 18, from 11-1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel followed by a graveside service officiated by David Autrey. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hicks of Chelsea, sons; Greg Majors of San Diego, CA, Leo Hicks, III of Los Angeles, CA, John Hicks, of Tacoma, WA, and grandchildren; Jake Majors, Jordan Hicks, Kyle Hicks, Savanah Hicks, Leo Hicks IV, and Logan Hicks.
