L. Hester

of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the age of 72. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Brown Hester; a son, L. T. Hester, III (Cathy Crane) of Pelham; three daughters, Becky Yancey (Tim) of Smoke Rise, Vickie Hester, of Hendersonville, TN, and Beth Webster (Randy Kuch) of Pelham; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; his mother, Ervis Hester; a sister, Julie Narz (Marvin); and one niece. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. The family wishes to celebrate the life of L. T. Hester, Jr. on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Mike Shaw will officiate. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South.
