L. Florence

of McCalla, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008, at the age of 84. He was a WWII Veteran and a life member of Masonic Lodge 757. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ethelene; 2 sons, Tommy and Ray; a daughter, Darlene; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 4 half sisters. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 11, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Glover officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
