Kevin Davidson

Kevin Clark Davidson, of Calera, departed for his heavenly home Friday, September 12, 2025. He was 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Joy Davidson.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years, Brenda Davidson; his daughter, Sharon Lee (Brian); sons, Jonathan Davidson (Terri) and Christopher Davidson; stepdaughter, Shannon Belmont Miller (Timothy); his grandchildren, Brent Lee, Breeann Magdaleno (Nicholas), Kayla Ware, Jay Belmont (Amanda), Rae Belmont, and Brandi Melton (Jeremy); 2 sisters, Joyann and Karen; and his brother, Jon.

Kevin was known as an exceptionally selfless, giving, and caring person, standing ready to be anyone's 'Good Samaritan,' if the need should arise. After serving his country in the U.S. Navy, he spent most of his working years as a diesel mechanic and shop foreman. By 'tinkering,' Kevin taught himself to fix just about anything, and he would spend time with anyone teaching them how to do it, too.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 1 PM in the cemetery.
