Kenneth Franklin Priddy, age 88, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1937, in Nettleton, Mississippi, to the late Esmond and Agnes Priddy.
Kenneth shared a beautiful life and marriage of 67 years with his devoted wife, Ann Elmore Priddy. Together, they built a family rooted in faith, love, and laughter.
He was a proud and loving father to two children: Bill Priddy and his wife, Carlyn, and Patty Priddy Burns and her husband, Ronald. Kenneth took great joy in his family and left behind five cherished grandchildren: Drew Priddy; Leigh Priddy Albritton (Michael); Jennifer Burns Payne (Britt); Lane Priddy Kendrick (Sam); and Andrew Franklin Burns (Anastasia). He was blessed with seven great-grandchildren; MariMack & Maci Payne, Adelina & Fin Burns; Josiah, Aleah, and Braylan Priddy, with one sweet great-granddaughter on the way. Kenneth was preceded in death by his three siblings: Catherine Priddy, Olan Priddy, and Mildred Priddy Aldridge.
Kenneth dedicated his professional life to serving the community in retail businesses while living in Illinois, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. His strong work ethic, leadership, and integrity were evident to all who worked with him.
When Kenneth and Ann married, they lived in Zion, IL and were members of First Baptist Church, Zion where Kenneth was the youngest elected deacon. They were also members of Round Island Baptist Church in Athens, AL, and faithfully served at Parker Memorial Baptist in Anniston, AL where Kenneth served as a deacon and he and Ann led several Medical Mission trips to Honduras.
In his personal life, Kenneth and Ann enjoyed trips abroad, as well as cruising the Gulf and Alaskan coast. Kenneth found happiness in gardening, sharing stories, and bringing laughter to those around him. Known as a wonderful storyteller, he had a gift for making people smile and feel at ease. His warmth, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Kenneth Franklin Priddy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. His legacy of faith, family devotion, and joy for life will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
