Kenneth Michael Murray

Kenneth Michael Murray, age 78, of Hoover, Alabama passed away suddenly at his home on April 22, 2026. Born in New York City on June 20, 1947, he was the youngest of 6 children of the late Dr. Francis Joseph Murray & Madge O'Donnell Murray. He attended Columbia University in New York City, where he received both his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees in History. After serving in the Army, he took a job with the Social Security Administration where he worked as a Claim Evaluator for over 35 years.

He joins those who predeceased him, his parents, Dr. Francis Joseph Murray and Madge O'Donnell Murray, siblings, Mary Murray Clifton and her husband Yeaton "Bill", Conal Murray, Grace Carter, Charles Murray and niece Heather Murray.

He will be missed immensely by his siblings, Francis Joseph Murray and his wife Elaine, in-laws, Betty Murray, and Bob Carter, his nieces and nephews, Yeaton Clifton, Sheila Clifton, Conal Murray, Jr. and his wife Naomi, Joseph Murray and his wife Bonnie, Jennifer Murray and her husband, Ali Ehsani, grand nieces and nephews, Elisa Murray, Garrett Murray, Evan Murray, Charlotte Murray and Alexander Ehsani.
