Katie Lacey

Mrs. Katie Winslett Lacey, age 89, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in Helena, AL. She was a lifelong member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Lacey. She is survived by her four children; Kay Howard, Kathy Edwards (Jim), Phillip Lacey, and John Lacey (Donna), eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter, a special cousin, Nina Kent, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2011, at 2 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Donnie Acton officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
