Karen Harris, of Birmingham passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the age of 49. Karen had a masters from the University of Alabama. She was a dog lover.
She is survived by her parents, Bobby J. and Irene Y Harris; brother, Michael J. Harris (Cyndee); niece, Madee Harris; 2 nephews, Remee and Aree Harris; and her goddaughter, Marti Gornati.
The family will receive friends from 1-2, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 2 PM in the chapel. The family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
