1953 Judy 2025

Judy Culver

February 27, 1953 — November 15, 2025

Judy Kersh Culver, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on February 27, 1953, in Jackson, Mississippi, Judy was the daughter of James Clifton Kersh, Sr. and Delores Young Kersh. She was preceded in death by her father, James Clifton Kersh, Sr. and devoted husband, Robert Cecil Culver. Judy is survived by her mother, Delores Young Kersh, her sisters, Cindy Kersh and Jennifer Howard (Larry) and brother Jimmy (Becky) Kersh along with many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Judy's beautiful smile and fun, radiant personality lit up every room she entered. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel loved, welcomed, and seen. Her greatest joy in life was her family, to whom she dedicated her heart completely.

She leaves behind her three children, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally: Jeremy (Lisa) McDonald, Deanna (Donnie) Collier, and Jake (Leslie) McDonald. She was also a proud and adoring "Mimi" to her grandchildren: Clay (Iris) Collier, Caz (Jayla) Collier, Justin (Emily) Foster, Kylie (Gerard) Younger, Jessica (Bailey) Graham, Micah McDonald, Caitlyn Collier, Jordan Foster, Noah McDonald, Elijah McDonald, and Carlyn Collier.

Her great-grandchildren-Cole Collier, Avalynn Collier, Kaiden Collier, Kai Collier, Cailani Bush, Kalina Collier, Skye Younger, Caistyn Bush, Graylon Collier, Kash Muth, Teagan Graham, Tate Graham, Luke Foster, and Scottie Brooke Younger-were the absolute joy of her life. She cherished each one and never missed a chance to celebrate their milestones.

Known affectionately as "MiMi", Judy filled her days doing what she loved most: cheering on her grandchildren at sporting events, attending their pageants and school ceremonies, celebrating their birthdays, and showing up for every special moment in their lives. Her presence was a steady, loving force, and her family always knew that if something mattered to them, it mattered to her.

Judy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and wholehearted devotion to the people she cherished most. Her warmth will be deeply missed, but the impact of her life will continue to shine brightly through the generations who adored her.
