Josephine Contorno

Josephine L. Contorno, 77, of Maylene, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 28, 2017.

Josephine "Jo" was a devoted and loving wife and was a woman of Catholic faith. She played the organ for her church, loved cooking for her family, and traveling the world. Jo is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Annie Latino; and her loving son, Tommy.

Jo is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Mike A. Contorno; her two sons, Michael (daughter in love, Tabatha) and Paul; daughter in love, Amanda; one brother, Benny Latino (Rose Marie); sister in love, Virginia; six grandchildren, Ashlee, Paul Jr., Brittany Tanner (Matthew), Emily, Joseph, and Lacey; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Joyce, Ko, Tam, Eric, Monica, and special friend, Donna.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 9:30-11 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM.
