Hoover
John Mitchell, of Hoover, passed away on May 6, 2021 at the age of 72. He retired from Southern Company after 40 years of service and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Terry Mitchell; two daughters, Vanessa O'Neal (Keith) and Mallory Mitchell; two grandchildren, Oliver and Claire O'Neal; a sister, Loretta Garrigan; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Mat 14, 2021 from 5:00-7:00PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Dementia Society at www.dementiasociety.org/memorials in John's name
