John Jones, Jr

JONES, JOHN E., JR., of Hoover, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the age of 72. He graduated from West End High School in 1954 and retired from Décor, Inc. in 2000. John was an avid fisherman, hunter, and motor cycle rider who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sue Jones; son, John Jones III (Mendi); and special granddaughter, Cora Isabel Jones “Puddin.” The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, from 11:00 – 12:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, HWY 150, Hoover. Chapel service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, Wendell James officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
