John Jones

of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the age of 44. He was employed by Metalplate Galvanizing for 23 years. He was a loving son, brother, father and friend, and will be missed by all. Mr. Jones is survived by one son, John Jones, Jr., of Bessemer; one daughter, Kimberly Jones, of Bessemer; five nieces, four nephews; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Jones of Birmingham; one brother, Wayne Jones and wife, Carla, of Odenville; four sisters, Melissa Brookshire and husband, Craig Bayliss, of Orlando, FL, Karen Ann Jones of Birmingham, Carolyn Nunalee and husband, Frank, of Mt. Olive, and Carmen Nail and husband, Charles, of Forestdale. The family will receive friends Friday, February 11, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. The funeral service will be on Saturday , February 12, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
