John M. Hiers, Jr. of Birmingham, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the age of 73. He was a member of the Baptist Church of the Covenant and New Merkle Senior Center.
He is survived by his daughter, Sheila H. Snoddy (David); 4 grandchildren, Brandi Burgess, Blake Burgess, Diane Snoddy, and Samantha Snoddy; and sister, Betty Miller (George).
