John Campbell, Sr.

John Thomas Campbell, Sr., of Vestavia, passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the age of 86.  He was employed as General Manager of Sherman Specialty Products.  Mr. Campbell enjoyed golf, racquetball,  and Alabama Football.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Freda Margaret Campbell.  He is survived by 3 sons, John Thomas Campbell, Jr. (Ronna), Jeffrey Dale Campbell, and Joel Paul Campbell (Jeanne); 1 grandson, John Thomas "Trey" Campbell III (Natasha); and a brother, James Edward Campbell (Lottie).
The family will receive friends from 1-2, Monday, July 22, 2019, at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.  Service will follow at 2 PM in the church sanctuary, Bill Johnston officiating.  Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association, https:\\www.alz.org.
