Jimmie Morris

On Friday, March 5th, 2021, Jimmie Morris, loving Son and Brother, passed away at the age of 56.

Jimmie was born on April 23, 1964, to Ralph and Geraldine Morris, in Pampa, Texas. He and his family moved to Alabama shortly after and settled down in Hueytown, Alabama.

Jimmie attended school in Hueytown and afterwards started work at UAB. He worked there for 19 years before leaving there and working for the YWCA for the next 6 years. Jimmie took pride in having nice cars and was meticulous about keeping a spotless house. When he wasn’t working in or around the house, he was lending a helping hand for a friend or family member. Not only did he have a quick wit, he also had a kind and compassionate spirit. He adored his niece and nephew, Taylor, and Tyler, and was always there for them to lend an ear or give advice.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Ralph, and his Mother, Geraldine. He is survived by his children, Zebidiah and Sebastian, brother, Jeff Morris, niece, Taylor Morris, nephew, Tyler (Leiaa) Morris, aunts, and cousins.
