Jimmie Knox

Jimmie Lois Knox passed away on September 29th 2024, at the age of 81. Jimmie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and the best Nana in the world. She never met a stranger and was everybody's best friend. She was a homemaker and held down various jobs during her life. There wasn't anything she wouldn't try including volunteering as a firefighter. Jimmie loved her little dog Minnie, bowling, shopping, and living on the river. She also loved spending time with family and friends. Jimmie was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl "Buck" Knox; parents James and Lucille Young; brother James "Buddy" Young Jr.

She is survived by her daughter; Carla McDougal (Wesley); son Jeff Knox (Karen); grandchildren Kyle McDougal (Ashley), Kaylie McDougal, Zac Knox; great grandson Conor McDougal; sisters Sandra Fredrick(Waymon), Sherry Barrett, Judy Gilbert (Roger), Gena Beasley (Donnie); sister in law Debbie Young, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held at Currie-Jefferson Home on Tuesday, October 8th, at 11 am, with the funeral to follow at 12 pm.
