Jettie Ruth Roberts

Jettie Ruth Brown Roberts passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 83. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Hoover for over 50 years.

Jettie was born on September 21, 1942 in Sylacauga, Alabama as the only daughter of the late William "Arcie" Brown and Ruby Spivey Brown.

She shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with her husband Harold Wayne Roberts, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Randy Roberts (Londi), daughter Rhonda Hickman (Phil); six grandchildren, Tyler Roberts (Lucy), Taylor Roberts (Anna), Tindall Alexander (Jason), Tanna Tillman, Kristin Garrigan (Samuel ,and Kimberly Orndoff (Kyler); five great-grandchildren, Audrey Ann and Addie Alexander, Cameron Garrigan, Bodie Orndoff, and Gamble Roberts. She was eagerly anticipating the expected May arrival of her sixth great-grandchild, Mae Elizabeth Roberts.

She is also survived by her brother Howard Logan of Sylacauga. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her half sister Pansy Ruth Thornton.
