Jerry Cushing

Jerry C. Cushing, of Alabaster, AL. went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 15, 2025, at the age of 84.

He was born in Gadsden, Alabama on July 25, 1941, the son of Clyde Cushing and Floyd and Helen Hooks Farless.

Jerry is preceded in death by his son Mark Drew Cushing, his parents, and other loved ones.

Jerry proudly served in the Alabama National Guard and later was in the grocery business from which he retired after many years.

He attended Church of the Highlands in Alabaster Alabama, where he loved to worship.

He is survived by his loving wife Stacy Davis Cushing of 63 years, a sister-in-law Kathleen Hereford, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

His life will be celebrated on Thursday November 20th at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover, Alabama. Visitation will be held at 10am and the funeral will follow at 11am. The service will be officiated by the Pastor Kenneth Stroup.
