Jeanette Hand

Jeanette J. Hand, age 82, of Hoover, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Jeanette, wife of the late Billy J. Hand, were married for 52 years. She was a long-term member of the Hoover Garden Club, St Mark United Methodist Church, Riverchase United Methodist Church, and Community Bible Study, through which she had many close friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Verta Johnson and Brother; Burl Johnson

Jeanette is survived by her sons, Billy J. Hand Jr. and David J. Hand; daughter, Sonja Hand Richardson; grandchildren, Erin Yost, Jordan Hand, Lauren Farrior, Merilyn Scivley, and Ethan Hand; great- grandchildren, Manning, Jackson, Lacey Yost, John Gray, Cole Farrior, Lulu Hand, and William Scivley.

There will be a private graveside service held at Alabama National Cemetery for family only.
