Jean Birdyshaw

of Hoover, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at the age of 82. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, James P. and George W. Birdyshaw; one daughter, Ava Ricketts; one daughter-in-law, Juli Birdyshaw; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers; C. B. Bishop (Delora) and Talmadge Bishop (Norma); and two sisters, Omega Isom (Jack) and Jessie Lou Ledlow. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial, with Dr. Mike Harrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shelby Ridge Nursing Home in Alabaster.
