Jarred Darby

Mr. Jarred C. Darby, age 26, of Homewood, passed away February 13, 2012. Since the age of 12, Jarred was a passionate musician and drummer. He played drums in the high school band as well as other well known local bands. He graduated from Homewood High School in 2004 and was an avid Auburn Football Fan. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William F. Darby, Jr., and grandparents, Herman L. and Betty J. Ray. He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Ray, father, David Darby (Susan), brother, Patrick Darby, sister, Amanda Darby, step-brother, Charles Backus, grandmother, Louise Darby, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 15, 2012, from 1-3 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Reverend John Mount officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
