Jane East

Mrs. Jane McKay East, age 84, of Vestavia, AL, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011. She is retired from ITT-Grinnell after 30+ years of service. She was a native of North Carolina and a resident of Vestavia for the past 14 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Knox East and a granddaughter, Janie. She is survived by three daughters, Janice McKinney (Roddy), Patricia Smith (Zollie), and Ann Benton (Fred Page); five grandchildren, Lee McKinney, Danny McKinney (Amy), Larry and Scott Rogers, and Spencer Woodard; and two great grandchildren, Nova and Brice Woodard. A private memorial service will be held at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church.
