Jane Francis Vance Dunlap, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away September 28, 2023. Mrs. Dunlap was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on November 30, 1923. Her husband of 78 years,' Thomas James Dunlap, preceded her in death as well as her parents, James F. Vance, Pearl G. Vance and beloved stepmother Stuart G. Vance.

After dating for several years, and graduating from Ensley High School, they married as WWII began. Mrs. Dunlap spent 30 years as an Air Force wife, moved too many times to count and raised 5 children. After her husband's retirement they returned to Birmingham. Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap continued to travel with trips to Europe and Asia with their many friends from the Air Force. On a trip to Hawaii Mrs. Dunlap saw the Easter sunrise service at the Punch Bowl and was a back-up dancer for Don Ho. Mrs. Dunlap loved to travel and didn't know a stranger.

Dunlap (Ludovina); grandchildren: Layla Dunlap, Steven Dunlap, Sarah Dunlap, Kelly Broadway, Robyn Roberts (Rob), Affie Milesky (Andrew); great grandchildren: George Roberts, and Lake Roberts and Sylvie Milesky.
