Jan Peoples

of Helena, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010, at the age of 54. She was a member of Pelham Church of Christ and a life long resident of Helena. She was a loving wife, mother and "Bobi" to her 4 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve; a daughter, Shannon White (Joey) of Helena; a son, Lee Peoples (Brandi) of Helena; her parents, Joel E. Jr. and Peggy Bearden of Helena; 4 grandchildren, Tyler and Torie White and Anna and Grant Peoples; 3 sisters, Mickey Finn, Kim Dudley and Staci Ballard; and a host of other relatives. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Don Genry officiating.
