It is with great sadness that the family of James Wesley Herron announces his passing on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the age of 78. James Herron was a long time employee of Star Truck Parts. James had a love for antique cars, Studebaker being one of his favorites.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Howard C. Herron and Adine Smith Herron, wife, Betty Wood Herron, and son, James L Herron. James will be lovingly remembered by his brother H. Clark Herron; sister, Margaret Bish; sister-in-law, Alice Griffin; daughter, Emily H. McFall; grandchildren, Austin, Elizabeth, and Matthew.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. The service will start at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Three Hots and a Cot.
