James Hyde, Jr.

James Douglas Hyde Jr., of Montevallo State: AL passed away on 11/01/21 at the age of 63. A devoted husband of 44 years, loving Father and Grandfather. Jimmy was a man of many skills and had a great passion for woodworking, Harley Davidsons, and playing pool. He was a mentor to many and never failed to offer a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hyde; a son, James David Hyde Sr. (Jamee); a daughter, Nicole Ethredge;  grandchildren, Breanna, Ainslee, David Jr.; great grandchildren,  Sammul, Aria; brother, Fred Pendley; sister, Shirley Hammonds; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Frances Ross Hyde and James Douglas Hyde Sr. and  brother: Jeff Hyde.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Funeral service will be at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
