Glen Michael

Glen E. Michael, 74, of Pelham Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was born and raised in Winchester, VA and was a graduate of Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Glen was known as true “Mr. Fix It”, and could pretty much fix anything that was broken. Glen was a longtime Master Mason and he was a member of the Shriners. He was an avid knife collector and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially wrestling with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, of thirty-nine years, Susan Withers Michael, daughter; Karin (Bill) Allen, his son; Chris (Kimberly) Michael, and seven grandchildren: Lindsey, Michael, Noah, and Joshua Allen and Evan, Emma, and Ethan Michael. He is also survived by his sister; Doris (Lynn) Clem and his beloved dog Toby. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 from 5:00-5:30pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 5:30 PM at Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, AL
