George Watson, Sr

Mr. George F. Watson, Sr., age 91, of Homewood, AL passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dadeville in Dadeville, AL. He was retired from Dundee Mills and served in the US Army during WWII. He was a graduate of NC State University. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and always put his family first. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary P. Watson. He is survived by his two daughters; Cindy Watson and Caroline Wildman (Frank), two sons; David Watson (Debbie) and George F. Watson, Jr., six grandchildren; David G. Watson, Angela W. Castille, Michael Watson, Samantha Watson, John W. Wildman, and Emma E. Wildman, a great grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends, Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 PM with interment following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
