George Colburn

George Robert "Bob" Colburn, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at the age of 80. He was an active member of Grant Street Baptist Church. Mr. Colburn retired from Watters Cash and Carry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. George and Geneva Colburn, and brother, Kenneth Colburn. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Lois Colburn; sister-in-law, Hilda Colburn; brothers-in-law, Durell Perkins (Jan) and Carnis Perkins, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 2-4 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be Monday, February 1, 2016, 1 PM, in the chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
