Genevieve Defrank

Mrs. Genevieve Marie DeFrank, of Bessemer, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the age of 84. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She was a devoted Catholic and devout wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Sam DeFrank. She is survived by her 5 children, Anna Davis, Paula DeFrank, Geri DeFrank Hagood, Sammy DeFrank and Mary Ellen Cooke; 5 grandchildren, Stephen Burton, Vince Davis, Gabriell Davis,Natalie DeFrank and John Cooke; 2 great grandchildren, Reagan Burton and Rylan Burton; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 10 to 11 AM at St. Aloysius Church followed by a mass at 11 AM. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover.
