Freda Cannon

 Freda Bookout Cannon, 82, of Maylene, Alabama went to be with Jesus on June 12, 2023. Freda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Lacy Cannon. Her sisters; Ada Marie Shaw, Mary Bookout and Barbara Smithey. Her brothers; A.M. (Bookie) Bookout and John Bookout.

    Freda and Lacy had a wonderful time travelling and being involved with church, family, and friends. They loved watching Alabama football, hosting parties and decorating the house for Christmas.

    Freda was involved with her church as long as her health allowed her to be. She loved baking for others and sending cards to anyone she thought might need one.

    Freda is survived by her daughter, Glenda (Steve) of Pelham. One granddaughter, Elizabeth Colvert (Kevin) of Pelham. Two grandsons, Eric (Beth) of Pelham and Patrick (Brittney) of Helena. She had five great grandchildren; Noah, Sam, Maddux, Asher and Eden.

    In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or Shriners Hospital would be appreciated.
