Frances Wood

of Birmingham, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the age of 76. She was a member of Valleydale Baptist Church and spent a great deal of time with her Lord and reading her Bible. Mrs. Wood enjoyed painting and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Wood; two sons, Terry Wood of Birmingham and Mike Wood (Cynthia) of Hueytown; three grandchildren, Michael, Shannon and John David Wood. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Bro. Kevin Blackwell officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
