Faye Sessions

Faye Gilliam Sessions, age 87, of Helena, Alabama passed away January 10, 2026 with her family by her side. She joins her parents, Elijah and Claudine Lancaster, sisters; Louise Lancaster, Zelma Dean Lancaster, Beatrice Jasper, and Doris Smith in their heavenly home. Faye was preceded in death by her first husband John C. Gilliam, niece Angie Reece, nephew Joey Jasper, niece Kay McAteer, and great niece Morgan Reece Stacy.

Faye leaves to cherish her memory, husband Travis Sessions, son, Kenneth Gilliam (Michele); daughter Carol Gilliam Fields; grandchildren K. Andrew Gilliam (Katie), Sarah Gilliam, and Gillam Fields; great grandchildren Hudson, Merritt, Charlotte, Hartlee, and Stetson; brothers Robert and Bobby Lancaster (Laudis); and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on January 14 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Scott Edwards officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover.
