Evelyn Cox Jones, of Cahaba Heights, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy and retired from Lawyer's Title. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Jones; a son, Kenneth S. Jones; 4 sisters, Gracie, Myrtle, Dorcas and Stella; and 2 brothers, J.E. and Frankie.
She is survived by 1 daughter-in-love, Bobbie Jones; 1 granddaughter, Karen Heard (Tim); 2 great grandchildren, Kenison and Fulton Heard; 1 brother, Charles Cox (Donna); 4 sisters, Mayo Casey (James), Daisy Pilkington (Ronnie), Lilly Phillips and Jean Collum (Jack).
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8, 2016, from 10-11AM and the service will follow at 11AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel.
