Emily Phillipps

Emily A Phillipps, 92, of Hoover passed away on June 22 at Kirkwood by the River. Emily was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She is survived by one daughter, Pam Custred, two granddaughters Kim (Tad) Powell and Julie (Reid) Spivey, and four granddaughters Avery Powell, Addie Powell, Ainsley Powell, and Willa Kate Spivey.
A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on July 16 with visitation at 9:30 and Mass at 10:00.  A private burial will be held in Gulfport, Mississippi. The family requests any remembrances be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
