Elsene Klinner

Ms. Mavis Elsene Klinner, 92, of Birmingham, AL passed away on November 9, 2021. Elsene worked until she was 86 in various accounting positions and loved Auburn football-War Eagle! In her younger years, she enjoyed singing and bowling. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Elsene is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Askins and Dovie Williams Askins, daughter, Terri Klinner; and brother, George R. Askins.

She is survived by her sons, Michael, Billy, and Bobby Klinner; 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover, AL with Brother Edward F. Tinsley officiating.
