Ellen Brown

BROWN, ELLEN VERONICA, of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008, at the age of 54. She was employed by Sweet Pea Designs in Pelham. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Stacey L. Brown; two daughters, Jennifer Allen-Catalano and JoAnna C. Brown; son, Stanley P. Brown, all of Hoover; three grandchildren, Veronica and Kaliyah Allen and Amari Catalano-Gibson; three sisters, Kathy Carroll (John) of West Islip, NY, Mary Ann Ruisi (Peter) of North Merrick, NY, and Chris Swanson-Weckerle of West Babylon, NY; and two brothers, George Swanson (Connie) of Bayville, NJ and Billy Swanson (Janet) of Royal Palm Beach, FL. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 4:30 PM. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY on Saturday, December 20, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any cancer research facility.
