Ella Brantley

of Pelham, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2008, at the age of 79. She was a life-long member of Lakeview United Methodist Church in Pelham. Mrs. Brantley was a long-time Eastern Star member and taught piano lessons for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Lucius "Dick" Brantley; two daughters, Christine Victoria Wheeler and Myrtle Mamie Brantley. She is survived by two grandsons, Keith Wheeler (Susan) and Stephen Wheeler (Pamela); three great grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, and Marshall Wheeler. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12, 2008, from 12-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 PM, with Rev. Ron Schultz officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
