Elaine Hill

Elaine C. Hill, of Hoover, formerly of Millbrook, AL, passed away on September 19, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. She was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. She was owner and operator of A Classy New Look interior decorating firm. She was previously the Executive Secretary for Dr. Thomas Corts at Samford University. She was a graduate of Holtsville High School.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Charles R. Hill; her sons, Randy Hall (Janet), Andy Hill (Terri) and David Hill (Julie); her eight wonderful grandchildren, who knew her as Gran Gran, Evan and Carly Hall, Rachel, Charlie, Travis, Lindsey, Charles David and Chapman Hill; two sisters, Jenilyn Mercer (David) and Kaye Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 10am-11am at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The service will follow in the Chapel. Interment will be at Brookside Memorial Gardens in Millbrook, AL, at 2:30pm.
