Hoover, Alabama
Dr. John Spink, long time resident of Vestavia Hills, passed away peacefully July 21, 2023, at the age of 93. He is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 65 years, Melba.
John is survived by his children: 4 sons, David Spink (Christy), John Spink Jr.(Barbara), Mark (Alison), Mike Spink and 1 daughter Molly Packard (Frank); 12 grandchildren: Brent, Brian, Stephen, Katie, Lauren, Ross, Jack, Sara, Adam, Ben, Ryan and Alexandra; 12 great-grandchildren: Boone, Reed, Jackson, Adelaide, Isaac, Carley, Luke, Nora Leigh, Anna Betts, Charlie, Zaden, and Brantley.
The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, July 26th at 12:30 pm followed with a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm to follow at Currie-Jefferson funeral home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
