Swims, Dorothy Mae "Mamma Dorothy" age 86, of Hoover completed her earthly journey and went to her heavenly home October 28,2021. A member of Covenant Community Church where she was the Church Mother. Worked at Shampoo Beauty Salon for 20 years. She leaves to forever cherish her memories and mourn her passing son William O'Neal Berry, Hoover. Sisters Alice Bowden and Corena Johnson. Adopted son Rev. J. R. Finney II. Visitation Currie Jefferson Funeral Home, Hoover Sunday October 31 5-7 pm. Funeral Monday November 1 at 10 am. Reverand J. R. Finney II officiating. Internment adjacent cemetery Jefferson Memorial.
