Dorothy Madinger

Dorothy Mae Madinger of Pelham, Alabama, born March 12, 1921 left for Heaven on December 10, 2020. She was born to Walter and Emillie Cook in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by Paul, her loving husband of 68 years, by her parents and sisters Mabel Bunker (Ward), Martha Rennard (Charles) and Sara Grover (Walter) and by two, sons, Garry and David.

Three children remain to cherish her memory: Paul II (Linda) of Hoover, Alabama, Jane Hunckler (Mike) of Bloomington, Indiana and Barbara Sherman (Charles) of Bay Minette, Alabama. She also had many grand children and great grandchildren who loved her dearly. Dorothy worshipped at Liberty Church in Hoover and First Baptist Church of Hoover.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Liberty Church with Rev. Bruce Terry and Rev. Eric Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon prior to the service at Liberty Church, 2732 Old Rocky Ridge Road, Hoover, AL ·35216. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover.
