Dorothy Virginia Kincaid

Dorothy "Dot" V. McGee Kincaid, age 97, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026.

Born on May 22, 1928, in Chilton County, Dot later made her home in Birmingham, where she lived for many years and built a life centered around faith, family, and service to others.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Sadie McGee; her loving husband, Monroe Kincaid; and her son, James "Jim" Kincaid.

She is survived by her son, Terry Kincaid; daughter-in-law, Dorothy "Dottie" Kincaid; grandchildren, Chris Kincaid and wife Nicole, Jamie Williams and husband Jeremy, and Mark Kincaid and wife Leah; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Carter Kincaid, Carus Kincaid, Collier Williams, Tilley Kincaid, and Langley Williams.

Dot was a longtime faithful member of Berney Points Baptist Church, where she served the Lord faithfully throughout her life. Her strong faith was reflected in the kindness, love, and care she showed to everyone around her.

She found great joy in gardening, cooking, and especially spending time with her beloved family. Dot's warm spirit, devotion to her family, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held on May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, AL.
