of Hoover, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005, at the age of 70. He was a loving father and devoted husband. A businessman for the last 45 years, Mr. Carlson owned All Original Foods of Birmingham, which distributed Pizza and Italian Food to restaurants in the Southeast. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Lambda Chi Fraternity at the University of Montevallo. An avid Alabama Fan, Mr. Carlson loved traveling to games in his RV. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Carlson of Hoover; a son, Michael Dewaine Carlson (Junie) of Pickton, TX; two daughters, Stacie Carlson Segars (Neil) of Hueytown and Dana Carlson Jacobs (Jake) of Pelham; two brothers, Marshall Denzel "Denny" Carlson (Carol) of Tampa, FL and Kjell Karlson (Bridget) of Norway; 7 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, from 6 to 8 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
