Della M Quick

Della May Quick, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on November 9, 1933, in Richmond, Missouri, to James and Mildred Alexander.

Della was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Maurice Quick; her children, Alex Maurice Quick, Denise Q. O'Neal, Paula Q. Randolph; and Charles Merryman.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Ann Foster; her brother, Jim Alexander; her grandchildren, Ashley Adams (Mike Allen), Douglas Quick (Rae), and Eric Quick (Stephanie); her great-grandchildren, Kasey Adams and Elena Quick; and Jan (Michelle) Lavier.

Della was a devoted Alabama fan who never missed a game. She cherished her church family at Mountain Chapel Methodist Church and found great joy in her faith and fellowship.

Services will be held on January 2, 2026, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.

Della will be remembered for her strength, devotion to her family, and the lasting legacy of love she leaves with those who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
