Deborah Wooten

March 22, 1952 — September 14, 2025

Deborah Beech Wooten was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, suddenly in the early morning hours of August 14th in Pell City, AL. Debbie was born in Montgomery but spent most of her life in the Birmingham Metro Area. She was a well known and respected Registered Nurse who attended Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing at Sanford University. She worked at Baptist Montclair Hospital as a Diabetic Teaching Nurse and put her career on hold to raise her two dear sons. She returned to nursing as a teacher for CEDA (Community and Economic Development Associates). She also worked for Alacare Home & Health. She was then offered a career working for Beckon & Dixon, which she loved dearly and retired from as soon as she found out she had a grandchild on the way. Nursing was her true calling and lifelong career which she excelled at tremendously. She is survived by her husband and best friend Lee Wooten of Pell City, her son Cliff Wooten(Christina Hodges) of Ragland, two grandchildren, Kale Wooten, Aubrey Wooten and their mother Anna Lichter Wooten of Birmingham, her close friend's daughter Aly Bevelle of Pelham

She is also survived by five nieces and one nephew. She is proceeded in death by her son Jacob Wooten of Hoover. Celebration of Life Services will be held at Currie Jefferson Memorial in Hoover at 11:00 am, with the viewing beginning an hour prior. Reverend Allen McConnell will be officiating the services.
