Daryl Thomas

Daryl D. Thomas, of Hoover, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at age 59. Daryl was a graduate of Fairfield High School and the owner of Alabama Amusement Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethridge and Monette Thomas; and a sister, Gwen T. Fitts.

Daryl is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kelly M. Thomas; his son, Trent Thomas; his daughter, Tiffany Harris (Jason); his adored grandson, Levi Thomas and his mother, Leslie Elliott; the mother of his children, Kellye Headley (Mike); his sisters, Donna Fassina and Sherry Mullenix (Steve); several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 11 AM - 1 PM, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with the service to follow in the Chapel at 1 PM.

The family would like to express a special thanks to New Beacon Hospice and Daryl's angel nurse, Michelle Carrell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Beacon Hospice.
